Oil Rig Heist
What is the Oil Rig Heist?
The Oil Rig Heist is a high-risk mission where players must raid an oil rig within 15 minutes. Completing the heist can reward players with a large amount of gems, usually ranging from 800 to 1000 gems per successful run.
How to Start the Heist
Talk to the npc near the stairs, you will be given 3 options:
- claim heist loot (must successfully escape the heist to claim your loot)
- play tutorial (Recommended: If you have never done the heist before, start the tutorial and listen carefully to the steps)
- spawn heist (heist can be spawned every one hour)
How to Complete the Heist
To complete the Oil Rig Heist, players must complete several objectives across the rig.
- Activate all six explosives to weaken the oil rig.
- Locate the vault and protect it for 2 minutes before it can be breached.
- Breach the vault for a chance to obtain two unlockables: Ultra-Heavy Armor and Player Radar.
- Find the Control Key and use it to unlock the control room.
- Plant the remaining explosives inside the control room.
- Plant the final bomb in the centre of the control room.
- Once the final bomb is planted, players must escape the oil rig within 60 seconds to be able to claim all the loot you have collected from your base
Optional Gem Containers
Players can also search the oil rig for 10 gem containers. These containers are optional and are mainly used to earn extra gems during the heist. Each crate in each container gives around 20 to 25 gems.
Tips
- Due to the heist being difficult, we would recommend having 3-5 players with you.
- Take 3 med kits and the best armour you currently have.
- Best Weapon Loadout for the heist is: 3 Reapers (for ammo), 1 M429 and 1 MK-153 (anti-air).
- Once the heist has been spawned be fast and use a helicopter to get in and out of the heist.
- Use your helicopter to fly near the heist and aim slightly above the Anti-air with your MK-153, to destroy it.
- Watch out for enemies, especially sentries.
